The Brief…
Every year, school pupils from around Dunfermline are invited by the Carnegie Trust to take part in a writing project. We were asked to write a book about a non-fiction subject which interests us.
The topic that I chose was about the many seabirds of Fife. I decided to do this as my project because, living right beside the coast, I have seen most of the birds that will be mentioned later. I love birds because they are all so different, and each have their own characteristics. There are a few that I have not seen unfortunately but many I know well anyway. I hope that you enjoy this, and you learn something, as I have so much through this process of making this project.
